Vilora Impex is a trading house, not a single mill. We aggregate from named milling partners across India's main rice and spice belts, consolidate at Gujarat ports, and ship under our FSSAI, APEDA, Spices Board and ISO 22000 credentials. This is the operational footprint behind every container.
We work with eight long-standing milling partners across India, each chosen for the variety they're best at: Punjab (1121 and 1509 basmati), Haryana (1121 ageing), Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (Sona Masuri, IR64, idli rice), Karnataka (Sona Masuri), Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan (pulses), Gujarat (cumin, fennel), and Kerala (black pepper). Each partner is FSSAI-licensed, APEDA-registered, and contracted on the same quality standards we sign on our own documentation packet. We don't anonymise the chain — buyer audit visits to partner mills are welcome.
Aggregated lots are consolidated at our partner storage in Gandhidham (near Kandla Port) and at warehouse facilities in Rajkot. Total under-contract storage capacity exceeds 8,000 metric tonnes of finished rice and 1,500 metric tonnes of spice. Climate-controlled warehousing for sensitive lots; fumigated and pest-controlled for bulk grain. FIFO inventory rotation; lot-level traceability from origin to container.
Combined sortex throughput across our milling-partner network exceeds 250 metric tonnes per day. Two-pass sortex is the default for premium export grades; three-pass is available on contract for ultra-premium retail. Pre-stuffing photographic grading is logged for every export lot, with the photo set and sortex pass log couriered alongside the documentation packet.
We stuff containers primarily at Mundra Port (Adani-operated) and Kandla Port (Deendayal Port Trust) — both in Gujarat. Our freight-forwarder relationships cover Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, ONE and HMM direct services to twelve destination ports across the Gulf, Middle East, East Africa, Maldives and Southeast Asia.
Independent lab testing is contracted to NABL-accredited labs for each export lot. Standard panel: moisture %, broken %, foreign matter, grain length (mean and minimum), oil content (for spices), and microbial spec where buyer demands it. EU 2073/2005 and US FDA FSMA compliance testing available on request for steam-sterilized spice exports.
